# Re Protocol

## QuickStart

### Visit the Platform

Visit [app.re.xyz](https://app.re.xyz/), and select the strategy that you would like to participate in:

* **Basis-Plus (reUSD)** — senior tranche, lower-volatility yield
* **Insurance Alpha (reUSDe)** — mezzanine tranche, higher yield

### Connect Your Wallet

Pick a compatible wallet (such as Rabby Wallet, MetaMask or WalletConnect), and click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top-right of the app. After connecting, you will be prompted to agree to the Platform Agreement.

Make sure your wallet is funded with a supported asset (USDC, USDe, sUSDe, etc.)

### Stake Your Tokens

Select which token you want to deposit, and input how much you want to deposit. The platform will show the equivalent amount in the selected protocol token that you will receive.

### Complete KYC

Since Re products deploy a portion of their backing with a licensed reinsurance partner regulated by the [Cayman Islands Monetary Authority](https://www.cima.ky/) (CIMA), KYC and AML checks are required to deposit into Re products. The reinsurance company must confirm that capital providers are not sanctioned and that funds are not linked to prohibited activity.

Once you submit KYC documentation, there are three possible outcomes:

* **Pass:** You can proceed with your deposit once your approval has been confirmed on-chain.
* **Fail:** You will not be able to deposit into any Re product.
* **Additional info needed:** You will be prompted to provide further documentation.

### Start earning

Hold your tokens to earn yield. Token prices will increase according to the current yield rates.

Remember to monitor performance via the protocol's [metrics page](https://app.re.xyz/metrics).

Re tokens can be deployed across many DeFi venues including Pendle, Curve, Morpho, and many others.&#x20;
